The Doctors Are in — And The Results Are Great

The doctors are in, and the results are great. That’s right our new fitness regimen is paying off and we couldn’t be happier with our progress so far. Weight loss is continuing but the best part is that we’ve learned so much about diet and exercise and it’s easy to keep on track.

What patient sees and reads may influence his or her health care decisions

That’s why it’s so important to be clear about what you can do for them, and what they need to do for themselves.

A physician sees many patients who are confused by the information they get from the Internet then his job is to help them sort out fact from fiction.

Some patients think they should be able to buy drugs online without any oversight at all. They think that because a drug is available online, it must be safe. But this isn’t true at all!

Digital technology has exploded in recent years

-and online reviews are more important than ever before. Whether it’s a business or a restaurant, customers will check out how others feel about a business before deciding whether or not to do business with them.

This is especially true for medical practices. Patients want to know what other people think of the doctors in their area before making an appointment.

Fortunately, there’s no shortage of places where patients can leave reviews for their doctors. Sites allow patients to rate their doctor’s office on everything from wait times to cleanliness to staff friendliness. Reviews can be sorted by location, so you can easily find out which nearby doctors have the best ratings.

Nearly 90 percent of consumers say that positive online reviews make them more likely to use a business

But how can a doctor get more reviews?

1) Ask your patients and staff for testimonials.

2) Encourage patients to leave you reviews

3) Create a page on your website dedicated to patient feedback — and make it easy for people to leave their reviews there instead of the review sites.

4) If you have an office manager or nurse who has access to patient records, ask them to send you feedback via email so that it doesn’t have to be manually entered into your website.

But what about a negative review?

In the age of Yelp, it’s hard to imagine anyone taking a restaurant review seriously. What kind of person can you trust when even the most lauded chefs have been known to fake reviews?

Doctors are much more likely than restaurateurs to get negative reviews on Yelp. And yet, research shows that their Yelp ratings are still highly correlated with patient satisfaction and quality outcomes. These results suggest that patients don’t just like doctors who listen well or spend extra time with them; they also like doctors who know what they’re doing.

The average person reads about four to seven reviews before forming an opinion about a business

The online review industry has grown exponentially in recent years, with more than 300 million reviews posted on Yelp alone. While this has generated more and more business for businesses that are getting positive reviews, it’s also created a new problem: How do you know if an online review is authentic?

Most companies have heard of fake Yelp reviews, but there is another type of review that’s even harder to spot: fake positive reviews.

In our experience, the average person reads about four to seven reviews before forming an opinion about a business. That means that if a company has 50 reviews on Yelp and only two are negative (or even just one), it looks like a great place to go for dinner or get your car repaired. However, those two negative reviews could actually be fake or paid for by competitors.

We’ve found that small-business owners tend to spend too much time responding to negative reviews and not enough time responding to positive ones. In fact, according to survey on local search ranking factors, “78% of consumers said they would be likely or very likely to look at online reviews when researching a local business.”

It’s critical for a physician to keep track of — and respond to — not only good reviews but also bad ones

For most businesses, the customer is always right. But in medicine, this isn’t always the case.

In fact, a quick Google search for “what doctors think of Yelp” yields some pretty damning results:

Not expect to find reviews on how well a doctor treats his/her patients; instead expect to find information on how much time it takes for an appointment, whether or not they take your insurance and other important information.

The problem is that reviews can have a huge impact on your business — especially if they’re negative ones. And while there are many ways to respond to bad reviews (from responding directly in the comment section or posting a response on social media), there are also lots of ways for physicians to get ahead of the curve when it comes to positive reviews as well!

Not only are freelancer sites useful to new and established designers, they can be incredibly beneficial to the public as well. When used correctly by talented designers, these sites provide users with a great go-to idea source. If you’re looking for poster design ideas, business card ideas, marketing collateral ideas or flyer design ideas, then the internet is the place to search before you spend money on a design that could look better or potentially break your company’s branding guidelines.
