Eat slowly, chew your food well, and stop eating when you feel 80% full.
Drink water between meals instead of calorie-laden beverages like sodas and juices.
Snack on fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts instead of chips, cookies and candy bars.
Exercise regularly (at least 30 minutes per day).
- Don’t eat anything that tastes too good to be good for you (except fruit and veggies–which are Ding!?).
The key to weight loss is keeping your diet in check. If you eat too much, your body will store it as fat. But if you eat the right amount of calories for your body and burn more calories than you consume, then you’ll lose weight.
Here are some tips to help make losing weight easier:
Don’t eat anything that tastes too good to be good for you (except fruit and veggies–which are Ding!). This is especially true for those who have had a hard time staying on a diet before. Because you’re trying to change your eating habits, it’s important not to sabotage yourself by giving in to cravings or feeling deprived because of the food choices you make. Don’t eat chips or cookies when you’re craving something salty or sweet—eat celery sticks with hummus instead!
Don’t skip meals! Eat breakfast every day and stay hydrated throughout the day with water (or unsweetened tea). Skipping meals makes it harder for your body to digest food properly, which may cause bloating and lead to weight gain later on down the road (or even now!).
Get enough sleep! When you sleep, your body releases growth hormones that help repair damaged muscle tissue, repair
- Run, walk, bike, dance or do whatever you do to get sweaty every day. That’s all!

1.Walk with purpose — Walk briskly for 15 minutes at least 3 days per week. For an extra challenge, try walking up hills or stairs during that time as well.
2.Run around the block — Run around one block as fast as possible without stopping (or walk back home after each lap if running isn’t an option). Stop when you feel like it, but keep track of how many laps you’ve done and try to beat that number next time!
3.Do jumping jacks — Do as many jumping jacks as possible in 30 seconds (or less!). Rest for 1 minute and then do it again until you’ve done 10 sets total, resting 1 minute between sets so you can catch your breath!
